When we decided to begin offering on-model photoshoots, those were our 3 goals. Before Elysian, having access to professional models to represent your brand was expensive and difficult to coordinate, plus, the whole process took forever.
That’s why we take care of all of that for you, for the most affordable rates you’ll find out there.
Here’s how easy it is:
Request a quote
Like any order, the first step is to request a quote by filling out a handful of questions on our website (it only takes a few minutes). This request goes directly to me, the Studio Manager, and I will get back to you by the next business day.
The purpose of this request is to give us an idea of the size of the shoot, what the products are, and what services your are interested in. Honestly, this is the boring part, so let’s move on to the fun stuff!
Relay your creative vision to us
This is my favorite part of pre-shoot planning because it allows me to access your creative vision and get an idea of exactly what you’re thinking for the shoot. It’s also the most important part: the better we understand the shoot, the better we can execute it.
Some clients like to hop on the phone and hash out an idea, others send Pinterest boards and other assorted inspiration photos, and some even have a full storyboard/shot list ready to go. Whatever method works for you also works for us.
Once we have a comprehensive plan and vision, it’s time to book your models.
Pick out the perfect model from our rosters
Other studios have a small pool of models on retainer, limiting your options. But every shoot is different, why should you be limited to the same few models that everyone else uses?
We partnered with 4 modeling agencies representing hundreds of models from LA to NYC, but most of their talent is right here in our backyard here in Ohio. Those agencies give us discounted rates that you just won’t find anywhere else. And guess what? We don’t up-charge those rates. 100% of the model fees on your invoice go to the model and the agency, not us.
We will send you a roster of 5-10 models that match the vision of your shoot, and you get to choose which one is exactly what you pictured. All that’s left is to submit your deposit, and then we are ready to roll!
Male or female, curvy or small, old or young, black or white, there’s no one we can’t find for your shoot. With hundreds of models to choose from, you’ll find the perfect one with us.
We take care of the rest!
That’s right, all you have to do is give us the game plan, pick out a model, pay your deposit, and we take care of the rest!
Once the creative vision of the shoot is nailed down and the models are booked, all that’s left is to execute the shoot. At this point we will have impressed you with our response time and coordination, but we haven’t even gotten to the stuff we are best at: shooting!
Shoot day is when our photographers and stylists really get in their element. This is when technical skills and creative skills sync up to create the most beautiful harmony. In other words, this is when our talented team turn your idea into reality.
After a fun day of styling, shooting, lighting, modeling, and probably a bit of goofing around (don’t worry, it’s essential photoshoot business), your shoot is done. Here’s what comes next:
You’ll receive a proofing gallery of unedited images from your shoot the same day!
Once you select your favorite images from the shoot, we send them to our retouchers who put the final touches on your photos.
Within 3 business days you will have your final photos. If your full payment is complete you can download the images directly from the gallery and begin using them right away.

Choosing Models
We have access to hundreds of models, but we can never guarantee that we will find the exact person you’re looking for, or that they will have availability on the dates we need them. We will always do our best to find as many options as possible.
Shoot Pricing
Model photography pricing is a little different than our other pricing. You pay a day rate to block the studio for the extent of your shoot. Rates begin at $1,150 for a 2-hour shoot.
Stylized and lifestyle photography, or anything more elaborate than white background photography, always requires a custom quote.
Model Fees
$150/hour, 2-hour minimum, + a 20% agency fee
The above rate can increase based on: commercial usage, model experience, travel costs if the model isn’t local, and if nudity or partial nudity is involved in the shoot. Most of our shoots, though, follow the above pricing.
